The uAvionix SkyEcho 2 not only transmits your aircraft’s information but also receives position reports from other equipped aircraft. With FLARM and ADS-B receivers, you can display the received information on popular in-flight applications such as ForeFlight Mobile, SkyDemon, EasyVFR, AirMate, and now Garmin Pilot.

Portable ADS-B with Transmit and Receive Functionality
The SkyEcho 2 is a portable ADS-B receiver and transmitter with a transmit power of 20W. The 1090MHz ADS-B signal can be received up to 40NM away, and transmit functionality can be enabled or disabled depending on your location. The ADS-B receiver capability includes both 1090MHz and 978MHz UAT.
FLARM Reception Capability
The uAvionix SkyEcho 2 also has FLARM reception capability, allowing it to receive FLARM data in the UK/EU. When selected by the user, the UAT radio in SkyEcho 2 can be used as a FLARM receiver, displaying FLARM traffic data on your EFB.
Certified GPS for Reliable Positioning
SkyEcho 2 also includes a TSO-C199 GPS with a Source Integrity Level (SIL) value of 1. This high-integrity GPS, with Fault Detection and Exclusion (FDE) and SBAS, provides accurate position data to your EFB application and correlates it with received traffic for display on supported displays.
Integrated Altimeter
The SkyEcho 2 also includes an integrated baro altimeter, which provides more accurate relative altitude alerts by correlating cabin pressure altitude to the altitudes of nearby traffic.
Clutter-Free Cockpit
Say goodbye to cords and clutter in the cockpit with the integrated SkyEcho 2 battery. The battery has a capacity for up to 12 hours of flight time with the transmit function enabled.
Wireless Connectivity
Connect wirelessly to SkyEcho 2 and receive live traffic on your GDL90 compatible EFB or EFIS for up to 4 devices simultaneously via Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz.
